Snow Leopard
(Panthera uncia)
The Snow Leopard, is a large cat native to the
snowy mountain. It inhabits alpine and sub-alpine
zones, ranging from Afghanistan to Mongolia
and western China.
The snow leopard is recognizable by its long tail
and almost-white coat, spotted with large black
rosettes. Snow leopards' favoured prey are
herbivores, such as Argali sheep and ibex.
